About Joanne

Born and raised in London, England, Joanne Robbins, owner of English Rose Voice Over, has called New York her home for the past twenty five years.

As a child, Joanne's love of poetry and the English classics hooked her on the power of the written word. Voice over has given those words the power to create a distinct picture and emotion in the listener’s mind.

Joanne’s start as a story teller came as a Pre-K Assistant conjuring up characters and encouraging the imaginations of her class of 3 year olds - by far her toughest audience yet!

Now catering to a more mature audience, Joanne’s love of the spoken word continues to grow – whether in a 10 second commercial or a thousand page novel.

Joanne lives in Sag Harbor with her husband and daughter and still dreams of one day becoming a “Bond Girl!”
